Light Blue Angel Poem by michael douglas hamby

Light Blue Angel

Rating: 5.0

Today I’ve seen an angel
wearing light blue cloths
with a ribbon in her hair
that flutters when the wind blows.

Her transparent wings
fade in and out,
and from her broken halo,
a golden light seeps out.

Her smile seems
to ease my pains
and her hugs remind me
of deep red flames.

I only got one chance
To finally get my way
I will try to catch her
Before this angel flies away
