Lights Of Passion - Poem by Kristy Winter

Wide stances,
long legs stretching
to the sky.
Joints popping,
muscles tightening
and relaxing.
Movements from left
to right, forward
and back.
Kicks and punches
are thrown and dodged.
A screech shakes
the audience and silence
becomes the teacher.
