Like A Child Poem by Marie Antoinette Einosas

Like A Child

Time flies so fast,
The days of childhood do not last.
It's time to face a new ride,
Unnecessary things should be set aside.

All of us experience changes in our lives,
Change is what continues in our lives.
Now, adulting is a difficult phase.
Life is like surviving a maze.

Things we used to do before,
Is no longer the same anymore.
Challenges become harder,
Yet, visions become wider.

Trials may knock us down,
Turning our face into a frown.
Minding those uncertainties,
I just wanna go back to my childhood days.

But, we can always be a child.
Like a child of God,
Who seeks for a guide,
Who runs and cries at him when life gets hard.
