Lionel Messi....... Poem by P A Noushad ...

Lionel Messi.......

Dear Lionel Messi,
When tears fell from your eyes,
they did not belong to you alone...
The moon grew dim behind its silver veil,
the stars hid themselves within the clouds,
and even the restless ocean
lifted its waves like hands in prayer...
There you stood,
beneath the lights of MetLife Stadium,
after the final whistle had carried away a dream...
The golden cup had chosen another path,
yet the world still thundered with a single name,
Messi... Messi... Messi...
Perhaps, in the silence of your heart,
you wondered:
'Even in my defeat, they still call my name.
How boundless must love be?
Perhaps this is my last World Cup...
My people deserved greater joy,
yet I could not give them the ending they dreamed of.'
Perhaps you remembered every battle,
every drop of sweat,
every hope carried from the first match to the last.
Perhaps you thought of your brothers in blue and white,
ready to give everything,
even life itself,
to place one final crown upon your head...
Perhaps you remembered the families
who crossed oceans and continents,
bringing their faith like sacred lamps,
only to return with tears instead of triumph...
Yet, dear Messi,
Silver is only a metal.
Love is eternal.
That night, you did not lose the world.
You won it once again.
For greatness is not measured
by the weight of a trophy,
but by the depth of a tear
that teaches millions how to stand,
how to love,
and how to remain humble
when destiny says 'not today.'
Your tears became a silent prayer
flowing through every nation,
every language,
every human heart.
Long after stadiums fall silent,
long after trophies become dust,
your kindness, your courage, and your humanity
will continue to shine
like a star that no darkness can extinguish...
Dear Messi,
The world may one day forget
who lifted every cup...
But it will never forget
the man whose tears
made the whole world weep...
And perhaps, beyond the last page of time,
beyond the final judgment of history,
your name will still be carried
by the wind,
the sea,
the moon,
and the eternal sky...
