Lionel Messi...We Are Not Here Merely To Exist; We Are Here To Make Existence Beautiful

In the silent midnight of England,
when the sleeping world has closed its eyes,
my heart remains awake, dear God,
beneath the endless ocean of the skies...
And then I see you, Enzo Fernández,
your trembling face, your tears, your cries;
something sacred touches my soul,
something deeper than words can ever describe..
Oh, Enzo!
What is it that makes a grown man weep?
What invisible bond can reach so deep?
What is this power that breaks the walls
we build around our hearts so high,
and brings the strongest souls to tears
beneath the same enormous sky?
It is love.
The love that asks for nothing,
the love that needs no crown,
the love that lifts another soul
when life has beaten it down.
And in your tears, dear Enzo,
I see a thousand hearts made one;
I see the beauty of relationships
that shine brighter than the sun..
I see you, dear Messi,
and the love that follows where you go;
not merely for the goals you score,
but for the humanity you show.
A left foot writing poetry,
a humble heart refusing pride,
a flying kiss towards the heavens,
a thousand dreams walking by your side..
But beyond the stadium lights,
beyond the victories and fame,
it is the love between human beings
that gives our lives their noblest name..
For what is a goal without affection?
What is a victory without grace?
What is the worth of all our riches
if hatred occupies our place?
This earth was not created
for one religion to despise another,
for one community to hate its neighbour,
or one human heart to wound another...
Did the rivers ask the mountains
which faith they should obey?
Does the sun refuse to shine
upon a stranger's home each day?
Does the moon divide its silver light
between the rich and those in pain?
Does the rain inquire about our differences
before it kisses the earth again?
Then why, my fellow human beings,
do we draw these lines of shame?
Why do we turn our sacred beliefs
into the ashes of a burning flame?
Why do blind beliefs and superstitions
sometimes darken reason's light?
Why does communal hatred teach the heart
to mistake another's darkness for a fight?
Aren't we all but passing travellers,
beneath one sky, upon one land,
searching for a little tenderness,
a little love, a helping hand?
And oh, dear God,
there is a sorrow I cannot explain,
a wound that whispers through my soul
and wakes me in the night again...
My grandfather, my father, my brother,
three precious names within my heart..
Their memories live within my breathing,
though cruel realities tore us apart.
The pain still visits without warning;
the tears still gather in my eyes.
Some losses leave no visible wound,
yet bleed beneath the quietest skies.
I carry their memories like a prayer,
their absence like an endless sea.
And sometimes I ask the silent heavens,
why must such pain remain with me?
I cannot turn the hands of time,
nor bring back those I loved and lost;
but I can question every hatred
that makes another life the cost.
Let no more families be broken
by the walls that fear creates.
Let no more children inherit
the poison of our ancient hates.
Let no mother lose her precious son
to the madness of a divided land;
let no father bury his dreams
because of another's cruel command.
Let no brother become a stranger
because of the faith he chooses to embrace.
Let no human being be condemned
for the colour, creed, or birthplace of their face.
Dear Messi, dear Enzo,
your tears have taught me something true:
the greatest victories of our lives
are not the trophies that we pursue.
They are the hands we hold in sorrow,
the hearts we comfort when they break,
the kindness offered without a price,
the love we give for another's sake.
Let us live with meaning,
let us live with grace;
let us recognise our own humanity
in every stranger's face.
Let knowledge conquer ignorance,
let compassion silence pride,
let reason walk beside our faith,
and let no hatred rule our lives.
Let us question what divides us,
let us cherish what unites;
let us turn our darkest midnight
into a thousand dawns of light.
For life is not merely breathing,
nor is it simply growing old.
Life is the warmth that we leave behind,
the love that outlives silver and gold.
And when our final sunset finds us,
when our footsteps fade away,
may somebody remember our kindness
and find hope within that ray.
Tonight, here in England,
I send these words across the sea,
to Kerala, to Argentina,
to every land where human hearts beat free.
From the streets of every nation
to the homes of rich and poor,
may love become our common language,
and may every heart find an open door.
Dear God, if You can hear me,
let this midnight prayer take flight:
heal the wounds of this wounded world
and teach us all to choose what is right.
Let Messi's humility inspire us,
let Enzo's tears remind us why
the most beautiful thing in human life
is the love that makes us cry.
And when the final whistle echoes,
when every stadium falls asleep,
let the love we shared remain on earth,
a promise that our souls shall keep.
For borders may divide our countries,
and beliefs may lead us different ways,
but love is the language of the universe,
and kindness is its eternal praise.
We are not here merely to exist;
we are here to make existence beautiful.
To love beyond the walls we inherit,
to heal the wounds we did not create,
to stand beside the broken-hearted,
and to choose compassion before hate.
And if one day this world remembers
just one message from my midnight tears,
let it be this:
No faith is greater than humanity.
No victory is greater than love.
No difference is greater than our shared existence.
And no darkness is beyond the reach of a heart
that still dares to love.
From a sleepless heart in England,
for every wounded heart beneath the sky.
May we learn to live for one another,
before our final goodbyes...
