Never cared what daddy said
Thought it was all just in his head.
Never cared that momma cried
Thought she was full of lies.
Always wanting to be free
Flying high above the moon and the sea.
Desperately seeking my own destiny.
Wondering why I just couldn’t see
What was to happen just ahead of me.
2 little boys to change my life
someone to take me as his wife.
Light seemed to fill my day
Only to have it all ripped away.
Be careful what you do or say
Because some day you might have to pay.
Be careful with the people you give your heart
Cause the might screw you over right from the very start
