Lithe Belle Poem by Genesis Bernaldez

Lithe Belle

Your angel covered my ears as I sleep
So I won't hear your footsteps as you leave
Crying on my pillow as reality is what I have dreamed
That someday I'll wake up without you lying here on my bed

Why do you have to do this
Everything would have been better if you stayed
Now my heart trembles at risk
I can't accept the fact that you have left

Kindness was the only thing you showed me
Yet I fell in love with your nice presence
But more secrets indicted you than me
I'm soulless and suffering from somnolence

Great wonder you have left me
Curiosity lies on my bed beside me
Did fate has given the wrong one for me
Maybe that's why you were taken from me.
