Little Girl - Poem by Shastina McElmurry

This little girl at the age of two
Is living her life black and blue.
No food in the kitchen only drugs and beer.
The beaten begins and now shes bleeding out the nose mouth and ear.
Upstairs they take her to a room.
She'll be dead thats what the negibors asume.
The negibors listen as the little girl screems and crys.
Her parents laugh as they blacken her eyes.
Every night her parents get high.
As they fight the little girl screems why.
The very next day after school.
The little girl is beaten so very cruel.
The little girl went to heaven today.

In loving memory of all the lost ones and all the kids out there that has had to expierenece abuse.
