Little Lily Poem by Homa Mousavi

Little Lily

Full of desire
Little Lily bud
Looked at around her

The king of the light
With his blue cape
Passing from the
Cotton enfilade

Old brown giants
Resting on their seats
Flying birds
Singing on trees

The earth's tears
Looking for the sea
Weeping willow's hair
Dishevelled in the wind

The little Lily
Sad for her short life
Whispered with herself
If she could fly

The Wind was near
So he could hear

When night's Queen came
Lily flying
On wings of the wind
Twinkling the earth
