Little One - Poem by Justin Gildow

I'm getting older
Yet you still look up to me
You still think about me
Even if I think you don't need to that much
But you just do because you say you just care

Little one
I might think I'm getting too old for some things
Yet you tell me there's better things out there
You tell me so many things in the world are meant for me

Little one
You tell me I might be getting older
But some things never change
That our hearts are still the same

Little one
Thank you for everything
