Living For Falsehood - Poem by Matt Mason

Lasting oppression bore down on the mind
Revelations that may never be found
Fasting the life of hate and joy
Serving the lies of the rhetoric words

Exiled from the truth that once kept you alive
Persevering through revilement
Regression from strange anticipations
Molded from an admirable figure

Held close to your conscience
And far from your mind
Close to your love
And far from your heart
