Living Through Jesus

While working for a living
Living until we die
We’ll rise to what God’s giving
In hell, or Heaven high

In but one, of these two places
We’ll rise, or we’ll descend
If life curses, or embraces
Is where in time, we’ll end

So beware fellow sojourners
Examine deep within
Only true Salvation earners
Find true life’s crown to win

Standing firm in Lord Christ Jesus
Obedient to God’s Word
Standing firm against who’ll tease us
Through actions quite absurd

Helping other souls found failing
Though heart and souls are keen
While assisting these assailing
Let no nonsense, come between

The grave’s only for a season
Eternity’s small dot
Give the Judge of life no reason
To send where love is not

Knowing now God aims to please us
Filling cups from true life’s well
Through the grace and love of Jesus
We’ll flee from death and hell

So it needs no rocket science
No gun, no knife, no sword
Neither army nor alliance
Faith alone, in Christ the Lord…..
