Living Within Dark Shadows Poem by Theresa Short

I'm not a person I once was,
I am now living in darkness cuz,
I can not stand the light,
my mood isnt always as bright,
My thoughts are only dark,
My friends and family were taking by a shark,
As for me I survived,
By being revived,
Only by an immortal soul,
That took its toll,
I fell in love with that dark one,
and I can not change what has been done,
I am living in the dark shadows,
No more flower medows,
Just rain thunder lightning,
Always hitting my body with a sting,
I am a soul to be bitten,
I only have 1 kitten,
I am now an immortal soul and his too,
I guess you could say he is my dark boo,
We are living within the dark shadows..
Forever in this unbreakable curse!
