For every tear shed for you,
that never made a sound.
For every tear I cried for you,
You never saw hit the ground.

For all the hope I had in you,
thinking you'd be around.
For how I felt I was royalty,
then you knocked off my crown.

For the love that was shown,
while you were here.
For seeing now that you're gone,
things are growing clear.

Never will things be the same,
but that will be alright.
For you were here for a season,
maybe just not meant for life.
