Locked Away Poem by ashley craddock

Locked Away

Locked away, like a broken toy,
Locked away in a tiny box,
Locked away, hidden from the world.
Locked away in darkness,
Afraid to come out,
Scared of what you would think,
Locked away from you touch.
But wait- I hear you-
Inside my box,
I see blinding light,
I feel a touch- I feel you hand-
I am free from my tiny box,
Free like the stars in the sky,
Free…..
