Lonel! Ness Bsde Me
Woken up in the middle of my sleep
Baffled and annoyed are my weary eyes
Searching to find a companion beside me
My hands reach out to the unending bed
But feel the crumpled sheets.
Disappointed I lay back
And realize that there are many more
Such lonely moments
Disturbed are my thoughts
Cynical are my feelings
But these never seem to leave me
Even as the realization seeps in.
