Long Lost Friend Poem by Fredrik Hole Halvorsen

Long Lost Friend

For the best friend
I never will meet
You the one to set me free
Make my anger fly away

Miss your voice
Every day
Help me through
My darkest day

Like the lonely wolf
That ran away
Never seen you
Till this day

You lost your battle
All to young
But still you sing
Your beautiful song

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is my tribute to my faverite artist Layne Staley who sadly died too young at the age of 34, after losing his battle with drugs. His music has helped me with my problems and inspired me to start writing myself.
Sadly I can never repay him for all he gave trough his beautiful music.
