Look at my eye
See the tear
See the fear.
Look at my face
See the confusion
See the unease.
Look at my heart
See the trouble
See the rip.
Look at my wrists
See the scars
See the helplessness.
Look at my mind
See the lack of trust
See the pain.
Look at my feet
See the bruises
See the journeys toil.
Look at my smile
See where it has gone
See the frown that
has replaced it.
