Look At The Light - Poem by Lora Cooley
I say these days I'm broken
Hard as earth
Frozen still like ice collecting on my car
A perfect broken image
And promised to me
The one who knew what to feel
And felt the world
In a room I said
'I guess you understand we had no chance.'
Don't we all just die?
Look at the light
Look at the light and tell me
Does it hurt you like it hurt me?
