Look At Us Poem by William B. Deutscher

Look At Us

Human void,
quantum space,
memory in our place.
Present tense,
timely now,
dreamt away
anyhow.
In the brain
limbic play,
visualize
every day.
What we see
merely bits
with our wits
organized.
By your leave,
waiting out the sun.
Backyard green,
soon overrun.
