My eyes are a chocolate brown,
And yours is a color unfound.
Inexplicable confound frown,
Bends down unsound as I muse...
Could they be a shade of blue?
Fresh droplets of early morning dew,
Or a violent dark typhoon?
Could they resemble Egyptian sand dunes,
Or a pirate's precious doubloons?
Maybe changing a sapphire yellow soon...
Could they blend in with the flowers that bloom?
Or match the green blades that festoon?
Look into mine so I may not be immune,
To the enigmatic luminosity, tinge, hue...
