Lord knows, oh yes He does
The mysteries that lie within us
The deepest desires, the secrets untold
The fears that haunt, the dreams that unfold
Lord knows, the weight we carry
The burdens we hide, the pain we bury
The struggles we face, day in and day out
The battles we fight, without a doubt
Lord knows, the tears we cry
The hurts we bear, the scars we try
To hide away, behind a smile so bright
But Lord knows, the truth of our plight
Lord knows, the love we possess
The kindness we show, the goodness we express
The compassion we give, to those in need
Lord knows, our hearts indeed
Lord knows, the storms we weather
The winds that blow, the rain that falls with fervor
The thunder that roars, the lightning that strikes
But Lord knows, He'll hold us tight
Lord knows, the beauty we see
The wonders of creation, the birds and the bees
The mountains and valleys, the oceans and seas
Lord knows, all that He decrees
Lord knows, the paths we take
The choices we make, the risks we undertake
The failures we face, the lessons we learn
Lord knows, how much we yearn
Lord knows, the joy we feel
The laughter we share, the love that's real
The moments we cherish, the memories we hold
Lord knows, they never grow old
Lord knows, the prayers we say
The hope we have, the faith that stays
The trust we place, in His divine plan
Lord knows, He'll guide us like a gentle hand
Lord knows, the end of our days
The beginning of eternity, the dawn of a new phase
The legacy we leave, the hearts we touch
Lord knows, He loves us so much
So let us remember, in every way
That Lord knows, each and every day
He sees us, He hears us, He knows us all
And in His mercy, we'll never fall.
