Losing A Friend Poem by Thomas Dominguez

Losing A Friend

Rating: 5.0

When you left me, it broke apart,
How I long to feel you, see you, hear you.
Now I must take this broken, bloody heart,
and fix the damage, just to feel you.

You would cheer me up, and comforted me,
We never had a dull moment, always fun.
Now I can stop the crying, and finally see,
I can stay here, sharing the same sun.

Now you must haunt me, make me see you,
Stop this madness, I don't want to live in fear!
Then there's silence, and I can't see you,
When I turn away, I can't believe what I hear.

Is this me, how can this be?
Why me, I don't deserve this.
We loved each other, just like honey and bee's,
This is one heart, I truly will miss.

Thank you, he was very dear to me. And I do truly miss him. But I appreciate all the praises that I can get. You don't know how much I wish to thanks you.

You describe the feeling of loss very well. I lost a friend, too, months ago, and I can relate to your poem. Great job.
