Losing Fragrance

I LOST THE FRAGRANCE
OF THE CHILDHOOD
THE ADOLESCENCE
AND THE COLOURFUL YOUTHHOOD
BUT I COULD SMELL
THE GONE FRAGRANCE
AS THE LILLY FLOWERS
BLOSSOMS IN MY HEART
WHERE I AM REDUCED TO A BABE
I COULD SMELL
THE INQUISITIVENESS
OF MY ADOLESCENCE
WHEN I WALKED THE LAKE
FILLED WITH RED LOTUS FLOCK
WHEN I PLUCKED IT
FROM ITS UMBLICAL REED
THAT EMBEDDED ON THE MARSHY BED
OF THE SERENE AND COLD LAKE
I COULD SMELL
THE FRAGRANCE OF THE DREAMS
OF MY YOUTHFULNESS
WHERE MY EYES LOCKED
WITH HER DARK DEEP EYES
WHERE I MELT
IN HER SWEET SMILE!
BUT I ABANDONED
ALL FRAGRANCE OF LIFE
WHEN THE TWILIGHT DUSK
WITH ITS GREY EYES
SEARCHED FOR VERMILION DOT
ON THE PARTING WAYS
OF THE THICK HAIR OF THE SKY
AND STOOD WITH SHARP EARS
TO HEAR THE GIGGLING BANGLES
THAT WENT INTO OBLIVION!
