Loss Of Gain Poem by Jamie Dewyer

Loss Of Gain

Rating: 5.0

in the end shivering
cowering
in a cave
frightened of thunder and
frightened of grave

too shamed of our future to
bother to save
witnesses' bodies dumped
freedom for slave

a fake garden in a maze
prophets erase
new webs to bind the soul
new ways to graze
to feed and feed endlessly
to cease to amaze
the let all the candles burn
out and be saved
