Desert me not my conscience!
For if I am corrupt, am just a mortal soul
Trying to fight temptation
Desert me not my heart
For though I’ve loved and I know I’ve hurt
I’ll forever be only human
Desert me not my mind
As it sinks into impurity
But still searches for altruism
Desert me not my eyes
While it stares into valleys filled with vanities
Yet sees the sufferings of humanity
Desert me not my soul
Some more years I have to live in the human jungle
My destiny I must fulfill
