Lost Poem by Cory Calder

Lost

I can’t find what I seek,

My heart grows weary.

The future looks bleak,

Everything appears leery.

Yet I still search,

In circles I wander.

I feel my body lurch,

“Will it end? ”, I ponder.

Nothing in sight,

I can’t get free.

Until her light,

Lets me see.

Shackles of the dark,

Have me bound.

Lost in the stark,

Until I’m found.
