Lost In Life Poem by Nick Smith

Just when I thought everything was bout to change
Life gets tougher, it feels strange
Reality has finally caught up with me
I look into the mirror, and nothing is what I see
Trying to get to college, hoping to find success
Life stands in my way, and its bout to release its toughest tests
I thought I lost drama, but it found me too
Got family troubles, and I'm struggling in school
I thought I was on the right path thinking I couldn't be phased
Now I'm lost in life, its like I'm in a maze
I sit here scared and confuse on what I'm gonna become
As life gets a little tougher everyday, soon I could be done
My life needs a spark, or a change
The path I'm following down now just brings me stress and rage
I need something or someone to show me the way
To get me out of this maze, and show me the happy days
I'm lost, I feel so alone
Someone please come and bring me back home
