Lost in the Sea of Dreams
The tides cradle me in a wordless lullaby;
dreams rise from the abyssal deep.
A wanderer on an endless shore, I walk—
still seeking, yet already found.
The wings that bore me lie in ruins,
their scattered feathers
surrendered to the ceaseless wind,
a witness timeless, homeless, free.
My first footprints fade to silence,
swallowed by the sigh of dusk.
Yet with the dawn the path returns—
not to call me back,
but to lead me further on.
The sun may scorch, the night may freeze,
yet still I journey on—
for heat and cold are sternest teachers,
and the road itself my only home.
The stars may vanish from the sky,
but even fading light can chart a way.
Each step becomes a prayer,
each pause, a quiet remembering—
until the very need for prayer dissolves.
For in the end,
the traveler, the journey, the end
are one clear flame,
one single breath,
one horizon without end.
