It’s wonderful to show we care
How lives through love can change
Yet when true love we try to share
It’s seen quite oft as strange
Love’s something seldom felt before
It’s something never shown
It’s what a heart was aching for
But yet has never known
To have! What one has never had
To feel, it’s warm embrace
The world is yet desperately sad
A terrible disgrace
She needs to look around sometime
Consider Truth in view
Then end at once her evil crime
As God would have her do
When Jesus comes, He’s such relief
We turn and seek on high
When hurts have gone, and all our grief
We break right down and cry
At first, we fail to understand
Amazed! We wonder why?
Such love is found at Jesus’ feet
Again inside we cry
This newfound love who can contain?
One need to give it out
In summer sun or pouring rain
Bringing an end to doubt
When hurt! There’s always need of love
Who look, can always see
I know just what I’m speaking of
For such! My friend is me …
