Love And Hate Poem by Mohammed Mohammed

Love And Hate

Love and Hate.
Two fraternal twin offspring of same mother
Love is hate turn inside out
And hate is love turn upside down
Your love is your hate unknown;
Your hate is your love unsung
And how so;
That you hate because you love?
And love because you hate?
Is not your love for peace you hate wars?
Is not your hate for poverty you desire wealth?
And is not your love for happiness you hate sorrow?
When thee love, look deep down into thy heart and you shall see it is only that which ye hate that makes you love
When thee hate, search thy heart and you shall find ye are hating for that thing you love
I heard one say, 'cleanse your heart of hate'
And the other say, 'I have no space no more in my heart for love'
I say, both must coexist as brothers
When one dines with you at your table
Know; the other is fast asleep inside your chambers.
For you are poised and balanced when empty of both.
When mother-nature beckons to weigh
Either your love or hate rise or fall.
