Love Between The Friends Poem by Darren Huston

Love Between The Friends

Just before we took that final leap,
From childhood into something else,
We once again called a truce.

As the days and weeks go by,
So few, I find, are what they seemed.
But you, I know,
I wish to keep close to me.

There've been many years and changes,
Yet, somehow we've made it though.
Always friends, again, in the end.
