Love Drunk Poem by Nicholas Hrynchuk

Love Drunk

He lonely walks across a bridge,
Thinking of his love,
He looks to the water below,
Hoping his love is above

His mind wanders,
Remembering her,
Then he ponders,
Wondering if it's for the best

Remembering how happy they were,
And how sad he's become,
He has lost his soul,
His attitude has now become fearsome

The warmth of her body,
The taste of her lips,
He remembers it all,
So his heart may fall

He looks into the water below,
He misses her so,
He slowly descends,
And they will be together once more
