Love Is Done Poem by andrue finley

Love Is Done

Rating: 5.0

Can you feel it breaking
Do the shards leaves scars
Did the dripping life stain the paper thin lies I devised for you and I

Does your striking blow leave a tear in your eye

For one second did you considered what I would feel inside

The burning sword which protected all dangers before me was soothed out my hands, now only the darkness rips the soul from me. See and understand

You did more than just hurt me.

You killed me and left me to rot.
You put me below a place I swore to never return again. Now only pain beats out of my heart.

I am a soul, I exist and breath and I try to survive.

Your solution only hurts me. Your game, that selfish ruse.

Are you happy with what you wanted to do.
Be alone.

Celebrate with parades and balloons.

Let my demise be a soundtrack to your victories.

Let my tears be your wine and brew.

Let my hatred be the night.

Let it set the mood.

Laugh at these words like they mean nothing to you.

Love is done and I will never need you.
