Love Is Like An Apple Poem by Maya Trowborst

Love Is Like An Apple

Love is like an apple
It either falls on its own
Or you make it
But then again it's not that simple.

For not all apples fall easily.
Some are stubborn,
While some are foolish,
And some can be a bit too feisty.

And not just that,
You have to make sure you catch a good one
For some are so rotten
That they always land with a splat!

And try to find a sweet one too?
The sweet ones are always nice
Unlike the sour ones, those apples are the worst!
And you already know that's true.

But then again, You never truly know
Until you take a bite or two
Because looks can be very deceiving.
So try not to just take only one bite and go?
