Love Is Not A Thing Poem by LenteInApril (A.S.)

Love Is Not A Thing

So tender, I can't breat you in,
as I know you might fade away.
But how I desire to be
in your time-accelerating company.

I don't want to leave you unguarded, as I know silence might hurt.
But you've proven my actions absurd.

For love does not need protection
and must live on in our eyes.
The desire to hold it in my hands
must stay burried inside.
