Dear God

Loving God, Creator of Heaven and Earth
Why do you even think we’re worth
Sending your beloved Son
To pay the price for everyone?

Thank you Lord for the Precious Lamb
Who suffered more than I will understand
With your blood you wash away my sins
Those evil, ugly, wicked sins
That You look upon with such disgust
With my weak flesh and devilish lust

But even after each offense
You’ll forgive if I repent
And so Sweet Jesus, today I come
To thank you for all that you have done
Though I know I can’t give back enough
In my heart I love you much

Inside my soul Your Spirit lives
A new person in Christ the world I give
And pray that they’ll see the change in me
So that those still lost will be set free

I thank you for the passion shown
The greatest love the earth has known
So today I’m sending my + LoVe - LeTtEr +
With thanks for making this world better
