Love's Light Poem by Michael Stevens

Love's Light

Let diamonds sparkle
like the stars in all the skies
And let no comparison set
with the beauty within your eyes
Even with nights ever moving pace
no shadow can hope
To hide your gleaming face
and in the unmerciful days
When you arent there nor near
it is only then
That i realize my fears
of a dark and lonely world
One without you
and i sit in the shadowed days
Counting them because lonely they are few
