Love Was A Stranger Poem by Mary Champion

Love Was A Stranger

Love was a stranger to both of us
so when we met him on that desolate shore
we did not recognise him.
But shyly, almost apologetically,
he introduced himself
and soon we became infatuated.
Now he is as familiar to us
as we are to each other
in our blissful menage à trois.
