i come to you today
bearing the gifts of love and hate
they refuse the separate
and i live in these worlds
and take these times
and use them against me
in the long run
love
it gone out the window
it runs from me
like its afraid or something
im not the enemy of love
i accept you and cherrish all that youve given me
though its in short supply
i try to squeeze out the juices of your soul
i try so hard to take in love
as if it were real
as if it were in me
all the time
but i cant love
with out being loved.
and hate
oh, how i hate
you
and everyone else who's there
i never wanted to be hated
but it just happened
