Lovers Poem by Alexander Foald

Lovers

Hit my bed with reality
Why can’t I forget your face?
Shout it out and clear
And there’s nothing you can see

Swim back to the shore
Feel like the waves go against my will
Is it just my heart that becomes headstone?
Is it a spell I can’t fight out till we meet?

The darkness falls before my eyes
Blind me over something hard to forget
I wish I was stronger than I am now
I wish I had you before you gone
