Loves Idea Poem by Rey Sanidad

Loves Idea

Rating: 5.0

I care not what the circling years may do to me.
If, but inspite of time and tears, you prove but true.
Although grief shall dim my eyes, and tears fall,
I shall not complain, for my sky is still blue.

And though the summer rain shall fill the river,
And leave me cold,
Your passion's warmth shall make for me,
A hill kissed by the sun.

And when the days became years,
and I grow old,
Inspite of pains and griefs and cares and fears,
Grow not cold for me.

Together we shall pass up the hill, I say not down
The two of us go up, to gain love's crown.
Let my life take you my own, as sun the dew.
Come, sit, my queen, for in my heart a throne
Is waiting for a friend!
