Lucky One Poem by alex manson

Lucky One

Shooting star, can I wish upon you?
Four leaf clover, what will you do?
I said I loved you, it was no lie
Little did I know, we’d shortly be saying goodbye
I tried holding on
But before I knew it, you were gone
Every night, I look up at the sky
I can no longer find a shooting star, no matter how hard I try
By day, I search for a four leaf clover
Because I don’t want to accept that it’s over
Since you left
Tragedy has been a luck theft
And my love has only grew
For the missing piece of my heart which is you
This will I never be over
Because I miss my shooting star, my four leaf clover
You are luck and luck is you
You’re gone and I can’t accept that it’s true
Will this last
I won’t let you slip into the past
One night as I looked up to the stars
I wondered where you currently are
I thought I saw you when I looked into the sky
But it was a lie
I will always miss you, this will never be done
And I’m still in love with you, my lucky one.
