Lullaby For Cairead Poem by JohnPeter Creighton

Lullaby For Cairead

People come, people go,
Angels wander don't ya know.
Devils plague you,
would unmake you,
got to pray and stay so strong.

Be thou safe,
Be thou loved,
And thou guided from above,
Gently rocking,
Ever walking
Under flight path of the dove.

Close your eyes,
Rest your head,
Let your sailboat be your bed,
While the waves move
Let the breeze soothe,
in the harbour of your head.
