Lumière Après Nuit (Light After Night)paris, November 2015 Poem by A. David Abraham

Lumière Après Nuit (Light After Night)paris, November 2015

From my window
I hear sounds of children
Laughing playing yelling happy

In the midday sun
In the light air early gauze
Of quiet still
Midafternoon

It is a good sound
In light of all that was
In light of all that occurred

In light of what is found

The sound of children
Laughing playing happy

Lightens my life
And brings joy in the midst

That Life
In all its wonder
Goes on

And on
