Sleeping in the moon's soft, glowing light Dreams of wonder, dreams of flight Lying on a bed of silvery beams Drifting off to heavenly schemes
The moon watches over as I slumber Guiding me through the night's dark number I feel so safe, so warm, so free Asleep in the moon's serene company
But alas, the dawn begins to creep And I must wake from my lunar sleep But as I rise, I'll always know That the moon will watch over me, wherever I go
So I'll dream again, of sleeping in the moon Where my worries fade and my heart finds its boon For in the moon's embrace, all is right And I'll sleep peacefully through the night
