Lust Not Love Poem by WISDOM FREDERICK OKIDIKA

Lust Not Love

It was an evening of love
Asked if I truly loved
For she was once unloved
And vowed never to love

Oh! Uchechi my love
Whom I preference in love
Agape had brought us in bond
But I to her a swindler for fun

Bottles on the table, the truth was made known
For I have treated her with fond
And sent to my mother to be made known
With Tilapia and cat-fish from my pond

Nysc gave her room for foul play
With kharki she found a Romeo who slay
Unbothered my tomorrow be famous
Yet at last glued to Mr. Amos.
