Lxxviii. His Will To Be Submitted To

And this, O
Socrates
, 'till ages time
Shall be no more, 'till Stars shall cease to shine,
Shall never be forgotten; for 'tis thine.
O Crito,
if the Gods decree that I,
T'appease the Rage of Enemies, must die,
Let it be so, the false
Anytus
may
With false
Melitus,
take my life away,
But cannot hurt me, or my soul dismay.
