Hear the cries of a song that speaks my heart
More clearly than I ever could

Across the top

If my heart could have a voice it would sound
Reminiscent to the lady crying out her need
To return to her lovers arms
Her need to run to where that fool is

And if my heart had a mind of its own
I’m sure it would wonder how this all came to pass
Even my mind cant wrap itself around how we’ve come to be
So far with me wishing a speedy return
Because you’ve had a change of heart
Because you’ve lost your fears
Because I’ve regained all mine and then some
And like that lady with the smoke and lyrics
Tumbling and tearing their way from her lips
I could also cry about my knowledge

Its been so long since I’ve seen that face of the girl

I’d run the world in circles
Cross every sea and the milky way to return
And piece back the fragments with something more solid
