when you check into the gates of heaven
there's a claims department
for how your soul got in

Enter the lane
marked Messiah Section
go down to

and you will be greeted
at the pearly gates of golden light

Moses the lawgiver
and representatives
from Sikh and Hindu departments
of polytheism

and every one of them
will wears a solemn face
tucked down in embarrassment
and worn down grace
like a burned out teacher
whose seen to many days


and they stand at these gates
for all eternity
welcoming every person
that has been
raped, tortured, and killed in their name
saying to each individual
the only word to account for their theologies.
